Certification Pricing
The pricing below reflects the costs associated with earning and maintaining HACP certification. These prices apply to all certification types (CMS, PE, and IC).
Initial Examination
The initial examination fee covers registration for the online examination platform. Once registered, the HACP Exam may be taken within a 60-day period. Exams can be taken online at any time during the year.

Study materials are available for candidates who wish to prepare before taking the exam.

Recertification
Recertification is required every two years to maintain the HACP credential. Pricing applies only when submitting a recertification application.
- Standard CEU Renewal Recertification Fee: $275
- Standard Recertification Examination Fee: $355

Group Training Option
CIHQ offers an on-site, in-person HACP Preparatory Course for organizations seeking to train and certify a group of staff members. The program includes a one-day live course, a complimentary Study Guide & Practice Examination for each registrant, and access to the online HACP examination.
